About Incident Automation
Incident Automation builds tools that bring Incident Management Teams up to speed quickly and accurately, keep them there, streamline documentation while reducing errors, and provide a live operational picture. Its initial focus is the Medical Unit and Safety; its ordering and logging modules are available to other units, and support for Public Information is planned.
Nick Arnett, Founder, is a Medical Unit Leader on Southern Area Complex Incident Management Team 1, a Public Information Officer 3 trainee, a Fireline EMT and a Critical Incident Stress Manager. He is a California State Fire Training instructor, a boarded instructor at the South Bay Regional Public Safety Academy and a CERT instructor, and the author of six books on crisis response and resilience.
Joel Mjolsness, Strategic Advisor, guides product strategy and go-to-market acceleration. Over four decades in enterprise technology, he has held senior executive and sales leadership roles at AWS, Dell Technologies, IBM, Canonical and Sun Microsystems, and has led revenue and business development strategy for technology startups. A retired U.S. Army Colonel and Bronze Star recipient with 30 years of military service, Joel mentors emerging tech founders through Berkeley SkyDeck, Stanford Seed and StartX, especially in dual-use technology. He advises Incident Automation on scaling its intelligence and operational platform from pilot users through its initial funding milestones.
